There is so much information out there  that I found it difficult to figure out which sources would be most valuable to me in preparation for my journey. After reading through source after source, I was able to narrow down my top 5 to the following:

3. Rough Guides (in paperback) by country
4. Journey Women
5. Wikitravel.org
